Editor’s Pick｜ Other Products ｜Jun Fukamachi: Introducing (Japan Import, Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP - PRE-ORDER

"A pioneering keyboardist of crossover music in Japan, Jun Fukamachi recorded and released this hidden masterpiece of the early Japanese fusion era in 1975 as part of Toshiba EMI’s audiophile-oriented high-fidelity analog 'Pro Use Series'. Now, it returns on clear red vinyl. Backed by a powerhouse rhythm section consisting of drummer Shuichi 'Ponta' Murakami and bassist Ray Ohara, Fukamachi showcases a rich palette of analog synthesizer sounds, while Kenji Ohmura delivers breathtakingly intense and fluid guitar solos. The centerpiece of the album is the approximately 14-minute jazz-funk epic 'Bamboo Bongo', a standout track that perfectly captures the virtuosity and adventurous spirit of this landmark recording." - Universal Music Japan
