Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' is a small tree or medium shrub with cheerful colouring in spring through to autumn. New foliage emerges orange/yellow with a dark orange edge, maturing to lime green in summer. In autumn, the foliage takes on striking bright yellow and orange tones. Green bark adds to the abundance of colour.
Growing to only 4 x 3 metres in 20 years, 'Orange Dream' is ideal for planting in a large container, but looks equally at home in a border. This magnificent Japanese Maple is best positioned in a sheltered and slightly shaded area to protect from strong sun scorching.
