Grand Auditorium Acoustic Electric with torrefied spruce, ES2 electronics and vintage-inspired style

Overview
The Taylor 114ce Special Edition Acoustic Electric in Dark Tobacco Shaded Edgeburst w/Gig Bag brings vintage-inspired visual character to one of Taylor’s most approachable and versatile body styles. Its Grand Auditorium shape offers a balanced full-range voice for strumming, fingerstyle and songwriting, while the torrefied spruce top adds warmth and a more played-in acoustic response. With layered sapele back and sides, C-Class bracing, ES2 electronics and a soft gig bag, this special-edition 114ce is built for developing players and experienced musicians who want reliable Taylor feel with standout style.

Features
The Grand Auditorium body shape makes the 114ce Special Edition a highly versatile acoustic electric. It offers enough low-end support for rhythm playing while staying clear and articulate for fingerstyle, lead lines and vocal accompaniment.

A torrefied spruce top gives the guitar extra warmth and resonance from the first strum, offering a response reminiscent of a more mature, played-in instrument. Layered sapele back and sides add durability and balanced support, making the guitar a practical choice for regular playing, lessons, rehearsals and performance.

C-Class bracing helps enhance volume, sustain and harmonic balance, while ES2 electronics provide a dependable amplified sound for stage, worship, recording and open-mic use. A comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut width, smoked eucalyptus fretboard, black binding, black pickguard and soft gig bag complete a player-friendly package with strong everyday value.
